Product Description

The product molecularly bonds with the wood fibres in the surface to be treated and thus protects and colours your wood in a single layer. This avoids overlaps and marks, and you get low consumption and long-lasting protection. In addition, you preserve the natural look of the wood and its fibre structure. The product is also very easy to apply on almost all types of wood and it dries quickly. Thanks to the B component (accelerator), the surface is dry after 24 hours and cured after 5 days. From 5 days after application, the surface can be cleaned with water and soap.

The Oil Plus 2C range is very colourful. You can choose between more than 40 colours. This range consists partly of colours that enrich the natural look and feel of your wood and partly of trendy colours that brighten up your interior with bright shades.

The numerous certificates Oil Plus 2C has been awarded with demonstrate that the oil is a genuine quality product. The environmentally friendly oil based on linseed received an LCA from VITO, B-EPD from the FPS Public Health and the Indoor Air Comfort Gold certificate from Eurofins. These certificates respectively show that the product is produced, distributed and recycled in an environmentally friendly way (for the LCA and B-EPD) and that the product contributes to a healthy indoor environment (for the Eurofins Indoor Air Comfort Gold certificate). Rubio Monocoat was the first in the wood treatment sector to obtain the Eurofins certificate. In addition, the oil also meets the EN 71-3 toy standard and is Food Contact Compliant. This means that the product can be safely applied to wooden toys, cutting boards, kitchen worktops, etc.
