Luxury Countertop Basins
A countertop basin sits proudly on top of your bathroom’s vanity unit or countertop.
More than merely functional, a countertop bathroom basin is a design feature that contributes significantly to your bathroom’s wow factor, every time the door is opened. Their elevated stature makes them stunning bathroom focal points – so choose wisely.
Equally at home in traditional and modern/contemporary spaces, due to the incredible range and versatility of the designs available on the market today, these basins inject a whole lot of style into your space.
As bespoke vanity unit specialists, we offer a huge range of luxury basins from the market’s leading brands.

Countertop Vs Undermount
Not sure of the exact difference between countertop basins and undermount models? No problem.
Countertop bathroom basins have a raised aesthetic, and stand elevated on top of your vanity unit or countertop.
Undermount basins are recessed into the countertop of your vanity unit or countertop, creating a sleek, spa-like aesthetic. The majority of our undermount basins are installed via the underside of your vanity unit’s countertop, though some are inset and guided down through a ready-cut hole.
Our Range of Countertop Bathroom Basins
Browse our extensive range of countertop basins from leading luxury bathroom brands: Crosswater, Victoria & Albert, Villeroy & Boch and London Basin Company.
To find the perfect basin for your unique bathroom design, consider your desired school of design, whether that be modern/contemporary, Italian or traditional, and choose a design and materials/finishes that will best bring your vanity unit and the bathroom of your dreams to life.
Basin Design
Explore countertop bathroom basins in round, spherical, oval, square, rectangular, as well as egged, warped, octagon, and out and out statement designs.
So, whether you’re looking for quiet luxury, or to make a big aesthetic splash, we’ve got the perfect basin model for your vanity unit, bathroom design, and unique space.
Materials & Finishes
Our range of Crosswater basins are manufactured from the highest-quality porcelain and MaterialLucite acrylic stone, and feature beautiful market-leading scratch and chip resistant finishes to protect your investment, and your basin’s visual appeal, long into the future. Crosswater’s classic, timeless aesthetic is perfectly at home in all bathroom styles.
Victoria and Albert countertop basins are made from Quarrycast (a specially-developed material) which is a blend of volcanic limestone and high-performance resin and achieves a stunning, bright, white finish. Some of their basins are available in either white gloss or white matt finishes. From timeless elegant designs, to more angular designs, our range features basins for either traditional or modern bathrooms.
Our Villeroy & Boch basins are made from ceramic materials and are available in either their Ceramic Plus Finish (a powerful scratch resistant finish), or their antibacterial finish, which helps to reduce the build up on germs and bacteria. Timeless and elegant, our range of basins from Villeroy & Boch has you covered – whatever your chosen bathroom design.
Parker Howley’s range of countertop bathroom basins from London Basin Company are manufactured using porcelain (high-grade kaolin ceramic clay), or reinforced glass and premium bohemian crystal. They’re perhaps the ultimate statement basin – art pieces in their own right – featuring stunning intricate carving, hand crafted shapes and graphic designs to transform any bathroom. They’re perfect for traditional bathrooms, or modern spaces looking for a basin that screams “style”.
Pairing your Basin with the Perfect Taps
For countertop basins, wall-mounted taps or deck-mounted tall taps are essential to ensure your chosen taps provide the necessary height for your raised basin.
At Parker Howley, we work with the luxury bathroom market’s leading tap brands to offer our customers the ultimate selection.
Browse wall-mounted and deck-mounted tall taps by Francone, Crosswater, London 1916 and Perrin & Rowe to find the perfect pairing for your chosen countertop bathroom basin.
Whether you’re aiming to achieve a modern/contemporary, traditional or Italian style bathroom, our range has you covered, with a wide variety of styles, and materials/finishes, including: chrome, polished brass, polished nickel, satin brass, unlacquered brass and bronze.

Don’t Wash Over Wastes
Simply choosing a countertop basin over an undermount model, in isolation, doesn’t help you to identify which waste you need. But just a cursory glance as your chosen model will.
All you need to look for is the overflow hole – which facilitates water draining, should the water level reach that of the overflow.
- If your countertop bathroom basin of choice features an overflow, browse our slotted wastes.
- If your chosen basin does not feature an overflow, explore our range of unslotted wastes.
